Youth HUB Fellowship

This fall, Youth SEED is excited to launch the Youth HUB Fellowship in partnership with United Roots and Impact HUB Oakland.  The Youth HUB Fellowship will be a year long program in which youth from low-income communities will be trained in social entrepreneurship while recieving access to adult mentorship, co-working space and seed funding.

To celebrate the launch of this program, we will hold a series of monthly events at United Roots beginning in September.  If you are interested in sponsoring a young person to participate in this program or would like to explore a partnership, please contact Gino Pastori-Ng: [email protected]

Young people ages 16 to 30 committed to making an impact in their community, school, or organization should apply today. The cost of the training is $99 - $150 (includes training materials, food, and lodging), based on a sliding scale. Partial scholarships and fundraising support are available.  Participants traveling from outside of Oakland can request a local homestay. YouthMade & Youth SEED

On June 24th Youth SEED will be leading an Intro to Social Enterprise workshop for youth from the YouthMade program, an innovative collaboration between JUMA Ventures and SF Made.  Youth interns are matched with local manufacturing companies and recieve work readiness training.  Youth SEED's training will teach youth about the principles of social enterprise and inspire them to create entrepreneurial solutions to the problems in their communities.
