Youth Led Food Truck!

B:E Business Model Canvass B:E Business Model Canvass

Youth SEED recently began an innovative partnership with Beyond Emancipation to create a youth-led food truck in East Oakland. A group of youth from Beyond Emancipation who recently completed a culinary training program have been selected to take part in a series of weekly social enterprise workshops with Youth SEED. In our most recent workshop, BE youth and staff collaborated on a Business Model Canvass, outlining the key elements they will need to develop to transform their vision into reality. Please contact us if you would like to lend your expertise towards this collaboration.

Amigos Youth Ambassadors Amigos Youth Ambassadors

Como se dice social entrepreneur? In January, Youth SEED will be leading a training on social entrepreneurship for 26 youth from Paraguay and Uruguay who are participating in Amigos de Las Americas' Youth Ambassador program. The youth will be connecting with 13 Bay Area youth (pictured) who traveled to Uruguay in June 2013 and will be hosted by families across the Bay Area for their month long stay. Each youth will be developing a project to be implemented in their home community, and Youth SEED will support them in understanding the concepts of social enterprise, to create projects with greater impact and sustainability!
