Youth Impact Hub Oakland is now recruiting youth ages 16-24 to join the Youth Hub Fellowship, a yearlong social enterprise training and co-working program. Participants will collaborate with peers, mentors and the business community to create their own social enterprise projects (businesses whose primary mission is to solve a social problem). Beginning in January 2016, fellows will:
  • Learn how to create a business model
  • Be supported by a professional mentor
  • Utilize a co-working office space with computers, internet and media equipment (available mon-fri 12-8pm)
  • Participate in a pitch event with access to at least $1000 in seed funding
This program is facilitate by Youth SEED, which has funded and launched over 39 youth-led social enterprise projects since 2010. Any young people ages 16-24 interested in creating a business or project that will benefit the community should apply before the November 1 deadline by clicking HERE.
